What is the cost to join Global Fashion Brands (GFB)?

There is no cost to join, $0 listing fees, and $0 monthly fees. The standard commission on sales is only 10% which helps us pay bills, continue product developent, and advertise to targeted shoppers to drive traffic. This also includes all PR, Marketing, Nolcha Event Promotions, and other features we secure for Global Fashion Brands sellers.

Are there any product listing fees to sell on GFB?

Currently, there is no cost to list your items.

What types of Sellers are using GFB currently?

Independent Designers and Retailers from across the world. We currenly only accept fashion for men and women.

Is GFB available near me?

Yes, GFB is open for all retailers to join and does not restrict by location (view accepted product types here), however we do have a 24 hour approval process for each new seller that joins. Shoppers have the ability to search 'Sellers' or 'Products' based on location.

Who shops GFB?

Savvy shoppers searching for unique, quality, and one of a kind items that they won't find in a local mall. When you connect your store to Facebook, all of your fans can now shop your store right from Facebook too.

Why should I use GFB?

In this economy more than any, it is important to discover new ways to reach your customers and potential new customers. You should view GFB as a tool to expand your market presence and grow your revenue. We allow you to sell direct to our shoppers AND through Facebook to your fans and nearly 700 million consumers across the world.

What makes GFB different from other social networking sites that I already use?

For one, you can sell directly to a savvy fashion community of shoppers. We connect your store and products through our personal shopping platform to targeted customers. You get a whole lot of e-commerce, cool technology, and a marketing machine behind your store promoting it through Fashion Shows, Press Outles, and great partnerships!

You can also connect your store's inventory to your Facebook Page in less than 60 seconds. This allows you to sell direct to your Facebook fans without having them ever leave Facebook.

How long does it take to sign up for GFB?

It only takes a few minutes to register and complete your Store Front.

How much time do I need to invest into GFB after signing up?

It takes 5-10 minutes per week to upload new products or post new announcements, events, and coupons. All of our product, seller, and activity feeds are time sensitive so it is to your benefit to remain active and in the eyes of our shoppers.

What are Flash Sales or Daily Steals?

Flash Sales are 24-72 hour flash sales emailed and promoted to the Shoppers of GFB. They feature discounts on excess inventory or new merchandise from local retailers and designers worldwide. Please contact us if you are interested in participating.

I did not receive my Account confirmation email, what should I do?

First, check your SPAM folder to see if you have an email from Global Fashion Brands Account Manager. If not, then please click the resend link when attempting to login with your email and password. If you continue to have problems, please contact us.

Where can I install the Sell Your Fashion Facebook Application to my Facebook Page?

Is the Facebook Application free?

Yes, it is free to use and list products. We only charge a 10% commission on products sold which helps us pay bills, continue product development, and advertise your store to drive targeted shoppers.

What makes your Facebook Application better than others?

We are strictly focused on the independent fashion and retail market which means your brand will appear with other high quality brands along with relevant and targeted shoppers that are interested in the independent fashion market.

Often you will find the same designers selling in our Facebook Application appear in our Nolcha Fashion Week: New York, or other fashion related events, and we use commissions earned to drive high quality traffic to your stores as we actively market, PR, and advertise.

Where can I find detailed instructions on installing the Application?

Visit the Facebook Store admin page in your Dashboard.

Is this Application safe and secure?

Yes. We never collect any of the buyer or sellers personal information as the transaction is completed all through Paypal. If you have any specific questions, plese email us at help@globalfashionbrands.com.

How do I sign up and create my own store front?

Please register here to get started.

How do I select Categories for my Store Front?

Once you have registered and signed in, click on 'Edit Store Front' and choose up to TEN product categories that you currently sell in. Completing this accurately is extremely important. We use this information to match your Business to relevant Shoppers.

Any business found abusing this by choosing Product Categories that are not relevant may have their account suspended or even completely removed from GFB.

What types of products are allowed on GFB?

At this time we are only accepting retail clothing and accessory products for men and women. See our complete list of prohibited products.

What are Product Cateogories and Tags and how are they used for my product listings?

Categories and Tags are keywords used to catalog and locate items in GFB's product search, categories, and other shopping areas. Please tag your item appropriately as this will ensure we connect your products with the relevant customers. You can use general tags, such as 'Women's Shoes' or 'Men's Jeans', in addition to more detailed tags such as 'organic' or 'Brazilian' or tagging by a particular material or style.

What are Product Groups?

Product Groups are a way for you to organize your unique products to unique product groups in your store front and Facebook Page store. You can create your own Product Groups (i.e. "Maxi Dresses") and then assign each product to any of your own Product Groups. This is especially important for your Facebook Page Store as Product Groups appear at the top of each page.

How can my Store Front and Products be discovered on GFB?

  1. During the User Registration Process (see 'How it Works' for more details)
  2. In shopper's personal shopping feeds
  3. In our 'Find New Store' recommendation enginge
  4. The seller search located at the top of each page
  5. The product search located at the top of each page
  6. Browsing sellers by category (example)

How do I add a banner to my Store Front?

When logged in, please click 'Store Front' to begin. We offer a display area up to 453 pixels wide and 400 pixels high; however you do not need to upload an image exactly this size, we will crop any image to fit.

How do I showcase and change the 'Must-Have' products seen in my Store Front?

When adding a product, click the 'must-have' checkbox to feature a product. Your Store Front can showcase up to 12 'Must-Haves' and these can be changed at any time.

Is there a ranking system for GFB?

Yes, rankings are determined by total # of followers. So a Store Front with 50 fans ranks higher than a shop with 35 followers.

Where are the events that I upload to my Store Front posted?

They will be posted on the GFB Events Calendar, and most importantly in all of your follower's feeds.

What type of coupons can I create and where do they appear?

  1. Product specific digital coupons to be used during checkout (can be created when adding a new product or here)
  2. Printable coupons that appear in your Store Front and Shopper Feeds

What is my business feed when logged in?

Your business feed showcases all of your most recent updates - including the creation of new products, events, coupons, and store announcements.

Is there a maximum amount of products that I can upload?

No, but for businesses interested in uploading more than 500 products, please contact us to ensure a smooth upload experience.

Can I upload a video to my Store Front?

Yes, you can upload a video in your Store Front Admin, for best results, please upload a video with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The video will appear as a tab off of your main Store Front Image.

Can I ask for Feedback from Customers?

Yes. Shoppers may post feedback to your Store Front after completing a purchase.

How do I delete my store front?

We are sorry to see you go; you can delete your account here. Please note that this action can not be reversed, your store and product information will be deleted forever.

Is GFB full E-Commerce? Can I accept payments through GFB?

Yes. GFB uses Paypal to allow you to checkout customers directly on GFB. At this time, customers can pay with a Credit Card or Bank Account through Paypal. You must have a Paypal Account to accept payments. Create a new Paypal Account here.

Do product listings expire?

Yes. Generally, we will remove all product listings older than 6 months old, however we reserve the right to delete to delete any products that break our Terms or are believed to be outdated.

I already have E-Commerce on my website, can I send Shoppers to checkout on my website?

No. Please upload your products and connect to Paypal to complete transactions. Any account found to be breaking these or other Terms will be deactivated and/or deleted.

How do I begin adding products to my Store Front?

It takes seconds! If you are logged in, you can begin adding products here.

Can I upload products in bulk?

Yes. At this time we accept bulk uploads via CSV files. See details on how to upload via CSV in addition to the most common errors found while uploading CSV files.

What is the 'Men's Product' checkbox for?

If the product you are creating is for MEN, please check this box. This will help you reach your target customer as we use this to sort men's & women's products appropriately.

What product fields are required?

At this time we only require PRODUCT NAME, SIZE, and PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. If your product has a size, you should complete this field as well, otherwise we will not be able to match your product to appropriate customers.

How do I collect Taxes on my sales?

As a marketplace venue, GFB can't provide legal advice regarding taxes. It's up to each Business to comply with their local laws regarding collecting and reporting applicable taxes from GFB sales. Tax regulations vary greatly, including state by state. We encourage you to consult an accountant to ensure you are following the law.

Many sellers will factor applicable taxes into their selling price of each product.

How do I know when I've made a sale?

You should receive two email confirmations for each sale you've made through GFB and Paypal.

  1. One email from Global Fashion Brands confirming your order details
  2. One email from Paypal confirming you have received payment for your sale

If you believe you are missing an email for an order, please:

  1. Check your SPAM folder
  2. Login to your Paypal Account to check your account balance
  3. Contact us and we will look into your issue

Please add "noreply [at] globalfashionbrands [dot] com" and "details [at] globalfashionbrands [dot] com" to your address book to ensure successful delivery of emails.

How will my personal information be used if I do decide to sign up?

Your privacy is very important to us. We will not sell or give your personal information to anyone. We will occasionally send you emails with updates or other important account information. You can read our entire privacy policy here.

How can I report a user or business that is breaking the terms of use?

We take your security seriously. Please contact us with your concern.

What happens when I delete or deactivate my account?

When you delete or deactivate your account, you will take all of your account information, pictures, products, and videos with you.

GFB is violating a Copyright and/or Trademark of my business.
